Introducing: Fade Beans

Your new money-printing machine. Fade Beans is our MMA gambling segment produced by the worst MMA gambler of all time: Me, Will “Beans” Everett (@WillyBeansMMA on Twitter).

Here’s the indisputable truth: I’m atrocious at sports betting. It’s actually insane how awful my gambling picks tend to be. But there’s one sport I get hosed on the most, and it’s the sport I know the most about–MMA. 

No lie, my UFC betting record is 10-230. This is not an exaggeration. I recently compiled a log of all UFC bets I’ve placed across several years and multiple books. The results are staggering; literally unbelievable, but I assure you it’s true. 

So, given that I’m abysmal at picking winners, I came up with the idea of “Fade Beans”. 

There are a TON of people out there on social media dishing out money line steals, coercing you into tasty parlays, and promoting plump prop bets. They live in the realms of Tik Tok, Discord, and maybe even Telegraph (still have no idea what that app does). Bottom line: Everybody thinks they’re a betting genius, and since you’re a degenerate, you’ll listen. 

Well, I’m here to innovate. Instead of giving you winners and assuring you of money, I’m giving you my picks, which, given my track record, are sure to be losers. Then, you’ll proceed to “fade” my picks (meaning do the opposite), and boom you’re buying a Lambo boat. 

If you think this is a ruse, it’s not. People ask me for picks all the time because I write about MMA, but when it comes to gambling I am useless (which is probably good for my journalistic integrity). For your sake, however, I might as well be the United States Mint. 

So, before every fight weekend here are your steps to follow:

3. Look out for “Fade Beans Vol. ‘X’” on thecampdotblog.wordpress.com
4. Read it. 
5. Do the opposite of what I say in my predictions (fade me!). 
6. Acquire currency. 

After each UFC event, we’ll look and see how much people profited off fading me. It’ll be glorious!
